Building Muscle Tips - A Wide Range Of Movement Is Better

So what sort of exercises should we do anyway? You wanna learn to run fast? You gonna do some bench and call it a day? Nope I didn’t think so. Hey, bench is a great exercises, but it’s not the right one for this goal. We’re here to find out what’s the best way to get your muscles big, and fast!

Let’s think about it. What should we do if the goal is to gain muscle and put on some solid weight? The best exercises are called comprehensive exercises. Why waste time doing lots of small ones when we can get better results with one big exercise right?

So we’ve got about an hour to workout. (probably closer to 45 minutes) This includes, warm up, lifting exercises, and warm down before our body starts burning muscle for energy. We certainly DON’T want our body burning muscle fibers for energy. So keep it under an hour, keep it intense and get as much done as possible. So What exercises do I do?

The Best Exercise List

Here it is These are the exercises you’ll need to do in order to work out the most muscles in the least time. Do these exercises often and you’ll pack on large amounts of solid muscle in very little time.

# Standing Free weight Squats

# Flat Bench Press

# Stiff Leg Deadlifts

# Behind The Neck Barbell Press

# Bent Rows

# Chin-Ups (if you can’t do chins, do Lat Pull Downs)

# Dips (if you can’t do dips do Decline Dumbell Bench Press with your hands facing each other)

Don’t even worry too much about the last 2 exercises because the other exercises are so comprehensive that you’ve already done a full body workout! Do them only if you have trouble doing some of the other exercises, or your feeling especially energetic.

Do at least 3 workouts each week, and make sure you do squats during every workout. They’re the foundation of your body and they’re the largest muscles too. Working them out hard will stimulate your body to produce testosterone more efficiently.

On that note: WORK HARD! These exercises work, if you work them. Don’t change them, do them as described and you’ll get results. Work out hard and keep at it. In a few weeks you’ll notice the results. That’s when you know you’re about to get REALLY BIG MUSCLES! Do about 5-7 heavy reps, and do no more than 3 sets each. Lift as much weight as you can and get someone to spot for you. You’re the one who must do the work.

The biggest secret nobody talks about in the bodybuilding community is that you must work out your body with HARD WORK RESISTANCE TRAINING if you want the best results. No wonder all those guys grunt and groan when they’re working out! That’s why it’s called a “work” out.

Weight Training Programs, How to Get Huge Biceps

Friday, October 31st, 2008

by Ricardo d Argence

In the gym, the arms are more worked out, then the chest or other parts of the body. Since guys want the sleeves of their shirts to fit a little tighter, they will work them to death. It feeds them a sensation of assurance and the females apparently like a guy with large guns coming out of his shirt.

The bicep runs up and down your shoulder muscle and it’s the muscle that is attached to the elbow, this muscle we will be working out today.

Barbell or EZ-curl bar standing curls are the most basic exercises. Try to stand with either a straight bar or EZ-curl bar with your feet shoulder width apart. You need to take an underhand grip about shoulder width apart also. I recommend you use a mirror to make sure wrists, elbows and shoulders are always properly positioned in a straight line through out the move.

A great was to start is with the bar full extended then raise the bar up to your chin by curling your arms up but keep your elbows still. To reach maximum contraction, flex your biceps at the peak of the movement. You must keep your wrist locked all the time otherwise if you let your wrist bend, this can easily hurt you. This is the main exercise for building mass in the biceps. Put this exercise at the beginning of your routine, using heavy weights. Its best to always warm up with a lightweight for one or two sets before going heavy.

Doing standing dumbbell curls alternatively on each arm allows you to lift heavier weights and become stronger. This is a good exercise that will really add to the rounded shape that you want in your biceps.

The same movement is used as in bar curls except for one little variation. When the movement is at its peak, take your pinky finger and raise it up above your thumb. Try practicing it with no resistance. This is what will give you that extra peak that all the pros have. It may be hard, but when your showing off to your buddies, it’ll give your guns that extra mass.

If you really want to isolate the muscles in your arms and give them a real workout, try the Preacher Bench Curls with an EZ-Bar. You will notice you aren”t as strong as you would like to be in this exercise if you are isolating your biceps. If the first two sets of reps have been completed properly, you will feel muscle fatigue.

Place your chest against the bench and let your arms hang over the angled cushion. Grab the EZ curl bar with an underhand grip. Curl the weight up and contract your biceps as hard as you can. Lower slowly, being careful not to let the bar stress your elbows at the bottom of the movement. This is a great exercise that will place added stress on your lower biceps area.

Trampoline Exercises - A Healthy And Fun Workout

Friday, October 24th, 2008

by Ned DAgostino

Sure you can drive down just about any neighborhood street and find kids having a great time jumping on a trampoline, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that this is simply a kid’s toy. The fact is that adults are quickly learning that trampolines are not only fun, but that trampoline exercises are a great way to get fit.

Let’s face it, most exercise routines quickly become boring. That’s why it’s difficult to stay with them for any length of time. Trampolines on the other hand are fun. Plus you will lose weight and tone your muscles without buying tons of additional equipment.

Trampoline exercises are beneficial because they provide a healthy cardiovascular workout. Similar to jogging on a treadmill or running around a track, your heart pumps faster and your vital organs become stronger. You’ll lose weight faster because your metabolism goes up. You’ll have more endurance because your blood flow increases, ridding your body of harmful toxins.

The constant jumping motion will quickly tone your leg muscles. And if you want to target your back muscles, you can do this by keeping your legs straight as you jump. You can even work your arms by swinging them every time your feet hit. And for increased strength and resistance, putting a small dumbbell in your hands or weights on your ankles will help. However it’s recommended that you only add the extra weight after you’ve been exercising for a while.

People with back problems often find trampoline exercises helpful. The jumping motion tends to release strain or tension that may be building up. And these exercises are low impact, which means you’re not putting any additional stress on your muscles or joints. If you’ve been jogging but find that the constant pounding is causing pain in your knees, ankles or back, a trampoline is a great substitute. This is even more beneficial if you are just getting back into exercise after a leg injury.

And it’s your body weight being used to tone and strengthen muscles, no additional weight is needed.

It’s been proven many times over that exercise is crucial at any age. Senior citizens can benefit from a trampoline as well. Just 20 minutes each day will give you a great workout without straining muscles, bones and joints.

Look, if you spend some time every night watching the television, your favorite movie DVD’s or listening to music, why not do it while jumping on a trampoline? You’ll burn those unwanted calories, give your muscles a great workout, and increase your lung capacity. Simply put, you’ll be more healthy for it.

And because you’ll be having fun, there’s also a better chance you’ll stay with your workout program for a much longer time.

Give Your Body a Boost by Stretching

Stretching is one of the most important types of exercise for a person to do on a regular basis. This is because it provides a number of different benefits to the body. Many experts have been preaching about the benefits of stretching exercises for years. Sales of DVDs teaching how to do the stretches correctly number in the millions each year.

Knowing the benefits that stretching provides to the body may make people more inclined to stretch on a regular basis. One of the biggest benefits of stretching is the way that it increases the flexibility of the body. When the exercises are done properly, most of the muscles in the body are affected and the tendons holding the muscles to the bones are strengthened.

There is usually a lower chance of suffering muscle sprains and strains if you stretch often. The reason for this is that the body’s muscles get used to moving in various directions. In addition, they become resilient enough to handle unexpected movements, which can lead to injury of the muscles or tendons. You can also improve body strength with regular stretching. This is achieved by the continual challenges placed on the muscles.

Since stretching exercises are low impact, they can be performed by any age group. Stretching exercises for seniors and those with reduced mobility help to build their strength and their muscles. This type of exercise is also suitable for little ones. There are lots of places where you can find group stretching classes for toddlers and their parents.

The exercise that the stretches provide for the body increases the amount of blood flow through the body. This can improve a number of different ailments. Increased blood flow removes wastes from the body more quickly. It also moves oxygen from the lungs to the brain and other organs in larger amounts. The blood also flows through the muscles of the body faster. This increases the strength and the health of the muscles in a dramatic way.

Stretching is one of the few types of exercise that provides benefits to the entire body. And it doesn’t matter how long or how frequently the exercises are done. Doing stretching exercises frequently will provide a bigger benefit and faster results. But even moderate stretching can improve the health of the person doing the exercises and give their body more mobility.

The advantages to your body of performing this low impact form of exercise are reason enough for anyone to start up a daily stretching routine.

Reduce Fat Chest Using Two Simple Exercises

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

by Anthony J. Howell

Chest fat or enlarged male breasts is a condition that affects over 40% of men in society today. Some of the effects of chest fat include embarrassment, depression and anxiety. Some of the many ways to reduce fat chest include going on a diet, having surgery, taking natural supplements and exercising. In this article, I will be discussing two exercises that you can use to reduce your chest fat.

The two exercises are:

1. The Incline Bench Press Exercise: To perform the incline bench press exercise, you will need an adjustable incline bench as well as a barbell. The first thing you need to do is load the weights onto the barbell. For this exercise, choose weight such that you are capable of doing 10 to 12 repetitions for each set.

After loading the weights onto the bar, lie on the bench and slowly lower the bar down to your upper chest. For one repetition, raise the bar vertically and then lower it again. You should exhale while lowering the weight, and inhale while raising it. To reduce fat chest, perform this exercise a couple times per week.

2. The Hammer Grip Incline Dumbbell Press Exercise: To perform this exercise correctly, you will need an adjustable incline bench and a pair of dumbbells. Similar to the incline bench press, you should select dumbbells so that you are capable of performing ten to twelve repetitions for each of your sets. In this exercise, the hammer grip should be used, which means that the longer dimension of the dumbbells is aligned with the length of your body and your palms are supposed to face inward toward each other.

After preparing, lie on the bench with the dumbbells over your upper chest. For one repetition, raise the dumbbells vertically above your upper chest and then lower them again. You should exhale while raising the dumbbells and inhale while you are lowering them. Perform the hammer grip incline dumbbell press a couple times per week to reduce fat chest.

So now I have told you the answer. To reduce fat chest for good, you should try these exercises. It requires some dedication, but you will see excellent results.
